I like some parts of this - the tiger arms came out the way I wanted - but I don't know, it's just not doing it for me. I realized a little too late I should have made the kid a screaming redhead with lots of freckles for a spots-and-stripes situation. Also, why the big cats lately? I dunno, man! Maybe the question should be why did it take so long to start exclusively painting big cats? It's big cats all the way down!

EDIT: Thank you so much for the DD and the kind words! So unexpected!
nice work check me out when you get the chance
Very cute! Heartwarming sight.
I really love this one, Lia!
Aw, thanks! The secret story behind this piece is that the owner of a store which is carrying some prints of mine was like "Do you have anything with jungle animals or kids reading? That stuff sells like crazy" and I was like "No but I WILL" and I made this and, well, he was not wrong about what people like.
Omg, this is so cool! I seriously envy that child - I SHOULD BE THE ONE IN HIS PLACE!!
Haha, thanks! ^^ You say that now - wait till the tiger wakes up! Just kidding, they're friends. : )
It reminds me of Life of Pi
I should read that some time!
I've always wanted to read it but I've never gotten around it. I saw the movie though and the ideas were real cool
I was going to say Calvin & Hobbes
Congrats for DD
I like it, but the arms say otherwise.
Calvin and Hobbes! :3
Congrats on the DD! Have a good day!
It's like Calvin and Hobbes ; v ;
When I look at this part of me thinks "awww, how cute, a boy and his tiger." but the other part of me can't help thinking "OH MY GOD! If that tiger wakes up that kid is gonna get eaten!"
Hahaha!! I read somewhere that tigers are never maneaters, until they accidentally kill a human. Then they realize we're fragile and delicious and only want to eat people. I'm the same way with Oreos. Thanks so much!
Is Magnificent!! I love it!!
Congrats on the DD!
Have a nice day!
Have a nice day!
Don't feel bad about his arms. I love how you made it look as if he's a huge creature with a bony structure under the fluffyness of his pelt. Amazing
