Sample piece for a girl's story from the Bible! Lydia is a dealer in purple cloth until she is all converted to Jesus and whatnot, but this is the part before that part. Originally there was going to be architecture (Turkish marketplace architecture, yum yum yum) but INSTEAD there is a giant camel taking up my whole composition, flaunting his use of conditioner.

Normally St. Peter is drawn as straight-backed and young and handsome, but now he is the one who looks like a conker. So what is Lydia, as played by Amy from this season of Project Runway, going to choose - a scarf coming from who-knows-where or the roly poly holy? Find out next week, IN - the Bible!

(As my manfella points out, Saint Peter appears to be stealing fruit.)

Turkish marketplace architecture is yum yum yum indeed! :meow: But this camel is also quite adorable.

I love how your style is always COLOURS and CLEAN SHAPES and YUM YUM. :P

This is amazing! Did you use a brush to do the outlines? Also is it all watercolor?

Thank you!

It's watercolor and digital, actually! But I am lazy when picking categories...though I love using brushes for linework. : )
