Hey look, I made a thank-you card! In which a well-dressed vagrant gives a deer, I don't know, pyschotropic fruit? This is for some intelligent, kind and above all attractive recommendation writers! I'm applying for a children's writer residency - Now Accepting Wishes for Good Luck (one of the above recommendation writers just e-mailed me to say they always pick novelists, whereas I mailed the committee a picture book proposal this morning, SO I NEED IT THANKS GUYS THIS CARD IS FOR YOU TOO).
